Keingart architect company has in collaboration with Unisport Scandinavia, designed a motor skill furniture, that gives children a fun and different way of training their motor skills. Keingart have great experience with transforming old sports hall and schools to multifunctional activity centers with inviting sports facilities.

The motor skill furniture have two primary functions; the modules works as furniture where you can sit, and at the same time you can crawl and use your motor skills inside and outside the modules. 

The motor skill furniture challenges the kids coordination, motor skills and strength.

The motor skill furniture can create an aesthetic and practical platform, that can motive children to be physically active. The furniture is build in separate modules, which makes it possible to build the furniture in a new unique ways, and change the expression and activity, and therefore continue to motivate the users. The modules have different content, that challenges the children to both crawl and climb, and because of this, challenge the users body awareness and movement abilities.

Research shows, that motor skills are the basis of all physical activity. This means that, the greater motor skills, the easier it will be to achieve new physical abilities. Furthermore studies show, that motor skills have crucial impact on kids learning abilities. With the motor skill furniture from Unisport Scandinavia it's possible to train kids motor skills in a playful way, where it's only the imagination that sets the boundaries for the use of the modules.

What contains a motor skill furniture?

  • Four different motor skill modules that can be assembled after wishes.
  • The modules are 80 x 80 cm.
  • The modules work both on the outside as a sitting furniture and on the inside as motor skill training, that can be combined in endless combinations.
